Catharine’s Quality of Life “Dementia Care” Homes set the standard for dementia care in Denver and all of Colorado by utilizing innovative activity programs and care services not only to meet the unique and changing needs of persons with memory loss but also to help them actively live life. In order to keep residents actively engaged in life, we have the highest staff to resident ratio of any home or facility in Colorado (2-3, highly trained staff for 6-7 residents). Our innovative activity program was recently honored by the Colorado State Ombudsman Program when they selected it as the model to train their volunteers.

We specialize in caring for persons with Alzheimer’s dementia , Parkinson’s, stroke and less common types of dementia such as Lewy Body and Frontotemporal Lobe We are not a large Alzheimer’s dementia care facility but rather a residential assisted living home in which every person receives individualized care and attention to maximize their quality of life.

Our passion for caring for those with dementia started eighteen years ago when Dick Page (owner), could not find quality care for his mother. Her care needs led him to build a home for her, leave the corporate world and along with his wife Penny provide the “hands-on” care for Catharine and others for nine years. Thus he personally understands your high expectations for your loved one’s care, and the need for peace of mind in those who are providing it.
